FAQ's

Q: What are the candles/melts made of?

A: Our candles are made of a parasoy blend. We like the qualities of soy wax but it does not make the candle smell as strong as we would like so we use a blend of waxes for a more concentrated aroma. As of now the melts are 100% soy with plans to change to parasoy at a later date. Samples could be either soy or parasoy depending on what I was using that day.

Q: How strong are the candles?

A: Our candles are meant to fill a medium sized room. Perfect for bathroom and bedroom with a burn time of 30-40 hours.

Q: Why is the candle releasing soot (black smoke)?

A: Only burn your candle for 3-4 hours at a time and don't forget to trim your wick before every burn! Very important. Soot is a natural occurrence for any candle.

Q: Why does the candle have wax build up on the edges of the jar?

A: The first burn of the candle is the most important because it ensures a melt pool from edge to edge. If your wax is tunneling, it is likely that the candle has not been burning long enough.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: Due to COVID-19 we cannot accept returns of our candles or wax melts. However, we can offer a replacement in the event that a candle or wax melt may break or arrive damaged. Please send a photo of the damage, your name, and message to [email protected] or use the Contact page to get started. Once we receive your message, we will work with you on replacing your candle or wax melts.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: At this time, we do not ship internationally, but we are working on adding international shipping to our store.

Q: Do you offer wholesale?

A: At this time, we do not offer wholesale. That is coming at a later date.

Q: Do you offer private label?

A: At this time, we do not offer private label.

Q: How do I qualify for local pickup/delivery?

Local delivery is available for customers living in the Greater Richmond, VA area. Pickup can be set up at an agreed upon area (I do have a full time job so it will have to be set up around that or on the weekends).

Q: How long should I keep my wick?

A: In order for your candle to perform at its best, we always recommend keeping the wick 1/4'' long. Wooden wicks can be trimmed as low as 1/8". Just remember to trim before each lighting.

Q: My wick has this mushroom top after lighting the candle. Is this normal?

A: This is perfectly normal! The cotton wicks we use will sometimes mushroom during the candle burn. Just simply cut off the mushroom before re-lighting your candle.
